About Me.

I’ve always wanted to be creative. I started architecture school to pursue what I thought was the one dignified, respectable career where I could still use my imagination. I soon discovered my limitations with math, engineering and generally the left side of my brain. I lost my scholarship and dropped out. I still drew, I still wrote, but I gave up on a creative career. I waited tables, taught yoga, endured half a year of processing tax returns before settling on a practical career in healthcare. I’ve found success by approaching every day with a sense of humor and some grit while gaining insight along the way. Being employed in occupational therapy has been great, but working as a creative seems so much better. It’s calling me and I want to use my skills to call back to audiences beyond the nursing home. I’ve probably helped your mom or dad put on their socks. Could you help me get a job?

SOS healthcare is starting to make me serious.
